Why Work With a Squarespace Circle Partner?
If you're considering working with me, you know that Squarespace is my platform of choice, though I occasionally build on other platforms such as Shopify, Wordpress and WIX on a case by case basis. As such you might have heard me mention I am a Squarespace Circle Partner and the perks you can access through a Partner like myself.
But what does that actually mean, and does it make a difference to you as a client?
The short answer is yes. Working with a Circle Partner can give your business access to additional platform benefits, while connecting you with a professional who actively works within the Squarespace ecosystem.
What Is a Squarespace Circle Partner?
Squarespace Circle is the official partner program for web designers, developers, and creative agencies who build websites using Squarespace.
Members receive access to professional resources, educational opportunities, platform updates, dedicated community spaces, and benefits that can support client projects.
Circle membership has three tiers: Silver, Gold, and Platinum. The benefits available to a partner depend on their membership tier. This is how we are able to access exclusive events, insider info and prioritized customer service.
5 Benefits of Working With a Squarespace Circle Partner
1. Save on Your Squarespace Website Subscription
One of the biggest financial advantages of working with a Circle Partner is access to discounts on eligible new annual Squarespace subscriptions.
Depending on the partner's membership level, these discounts range from 10% to 25%. The discount applies to the first annual subscription payment, not ongoing renewals.
This means you can reduce your initial website hosting costs when setting up your new Squarespace website through an eligible Circle Partner. Additional discounts may also be available for qualifying annual Squarespace Email Campaigns and Acuity Scheduling subscriptions.
2. Get an Extended Free Squarespace Trial
Squarespace typically offers a 14-day free trial. However, Circle Partners can create websites with extended trial periods ranging from three to twelve months, depending on their membership level.
This gives you more time to develop your website before committing to a paid subscription.
An extended trial is especially useful if you're still finalizing your branding, gathering website content, organizing photography, or preparing for a future business launch.
You can work on your website without feeling pressured to subscribe before you're ready.
The extended trial must be set up through the Circle Partner's account to qualify.
3. Get a Free Year of Google Workspace on Eligible Plans
Your website isn't the only business tool you may be able to save on.
Squarespace also offers eligible customers one free year of the Google Workspace Starter plan when purchasing qualifying website subscriptions.
Google Workspace allows you to create a professional email address using your business domain, such as hello@yourbusiness.com, giving you access to the paid version of familiar tools like Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, and Google Meet. If you are looking to ditch your Zoom subscription in a effort to consolidate your tech stack, then this is an added benefit most people don’t realize.
Instead of managing your business communications through a personal Gmail account, you can establish a professional email address that reflects your brand.
This offer is available to eligible new Google Workspace accounts set up through Squarespace. Standard subscription charges apply after the promotional period.
Although this benefit isn't exclusive to Circle Partners, it's one of the opportunities I help clients explore when setting up their website and business systems.
4. Get Additional Platform Support
Circle Partners receive priority access to Squarespace customer support.
This can be helpful when troubleshooting platform-related issues that may arise during website development or resolving questions about Squarespace functionality. You never have to worry your developer is on vacation and you have no one to rely on, which is often the case with open source platforms like Wordpress, no offense but it’s the reality.
People often love to compare the two platforms citing Wordpress is cheaper, which is also arguable as the costs truly add up over time in different ways but nothing compares to the peace of mind that you don’t have to worry about annoying tech issues when you are in a sales campaign season.
5. Work With Someone Who Stays Connected to the Platform
Squarespace continues to develop its website, commerce, marketing, and business management tools.
Through Circle, partners can access product updates, educational resources, professional communities, and opportunities to explore new features.
For me, staying connected to these developments is an important part of helping clients make informed decisions about their websites and the digital systems supporting their businesses.

Working With Basic to Branded
At From Basic to Branded, I've worked with Squarespace for nearly a decade, helping businesses develop websites that bring together brand strategy, thoughtful design, and practical digital systems.
As a Squarespace Circle Partner, I combine that experience with access to platform resources, professional education, and an international community of web designers.
My focus isn't simply on getting your website published. It's on creating a digital foundation that is functional, manageable, and aligned with where your business is going.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Answer: Because your website isn’t just about it existing, you have a website but is it working. If it hasn’t been optimized, updated, or reviewed in the past 3–6 months, chances are it’s no longer aligned with your business goals. A strategy session helps you refocus and turn your site into a tool again, not just a placeholder.
-
Answer: This isn’t a generic chat. We’ll review your current website, identify where it's falling flat, and discuss what needs to shift, whether it’s content, structure, visibility (SEO), or conversion flow. You’ll leave with clarity, recommendations, and a roadmap you can use.
-
Answer: Absolutely. Most of the time, you don’t need a full rebuild, you need a professional eye and some smart, intentional tweaks. This session helps you maximize what you already have and build a phased plan if a full redesign ever becomes necessary.
-
Answer: Yes, my support packages are built with sustainability in mind.
Whether it’s a quarterly check-in, a flexible refresh plan, or a lightweight retainer, we can find a rhythm that works for your business and budget. The goal is consistent alignment, not constant updates.
-
Answer: I hear this more often than you’d think. What makes this different is the focus on strategy and relationship. We don’t just build things, I ask questions, guide decisions, and help you maintain your investment.
And if something isn’t the right fit, I’ll tell you. No fluff, no pressure.
-
Answer: Of course, you can! However, the better question is: are you actually doing it? If not, there’s no shame in that. Most business owners don’t have the time, capacity, or clarity to make the most strategic edits. That’s where I come in, to partner with you and take that weight off your plate.
